Clarity offers a complete Prenatal Care Program for women who choose the option of continuing their pregnancy through to parenting or continuing to explore the option of adoption. We recognize that there are many unknowns when facing an unexpected pregnancy and you don't need to have everything all figured out at once.
We are committed to journeying with you throughout your entire pregnancy and beyond, empowering you with the knowledge, resources, and the support you need to prepare for what's to come. Our hope is that one day you would be able to look back and see the unexpected "blessings" that came through the most unlikely of circumstances.
Pregnancy can be an overwhelming experience filled with a mix of emotions in even the best of circumstances. Not feeling ready to become a parent mentally, emotionally, or practically are all very normal feelings to have. That's where we can help.
Entering our Prenatal Care program begins with an intake appointment. We assess your needs and discuss the various ways we can be a support to you.
Prenatal Vitamins
We have a very generous local business supporter who donates high-quality prenatal vitamins that we are able to give our clients.
Group Prenatal Classes
Our prenatal class is the core of our Prenatal Care Program. Group classes run on a weekly basis and are taught by a volunteer nurse and our on-staff Doula. We start with sharing a hot meal together provided by volunteers who cook for us each week. The class curriculum covers topics including fetal development, what to expect in each trimester of pregnancy, labour, delivery, self-care, infant feeding, baby care, etc. Beyond prenatal education, meaningful friendships are developed and a sense of community is often experienced amongst participants. You're welcome to bring a support person, whether that's a friend, family member or partner and if you don't have anyone that's ok too. Sometimes it just helps to connect with others who are going through similar experiences.
1-on-1 Prenatal Classes
If the group class isn't for you or doesn't work with your schedule, we also offer one-on-one appointments. If you think that you might need someone to be with you during the labour and delivery, our on-staff Doula is available to be that person for you and also works to create a personalized birth plan for clients.

Community Connections & Advocacy
We work with a variety of local community agencies who offer services we don't have available in-house and can attend appointments and advocate for you if needed.
Material Resources based on Individual Needs
Leading up to your due date, we will do a needs assessment to help fill in any gaps you might have in preparation for your baby's arrival. We receive donations of gently used baby items, clothing, furniture, etc. on a continual basis which allows us to pass on these items as needed.
Baby Showers
We even throw baby showers in partnership with local churches and provide everything you could possibly need as you step into motherhood.
